Since opening in July 2022,
over 5,000 packets of seed have been 'borrowed' from the seed library.
But how does it work?…
The Frome Seed Library is a permanent seed swap located at Frome Library. Here you'll find hundreds of seeds that have been donated by local gardeners and growers.
The idea is simple.
Choose your free vegetable or flower seeds.
Take them home to grow.
Harvest your crop (but remember to save some of the seed from the best plants!)
Return some of the seeds back to us to start the cycle all over again!
